Why fashion is going ethical...

As I always say in my blog a warm come back from Marco.
Today I would like to talk about one trend that is becoming important day by day in all business and in Fashion as well. This trend is the ethical message that the fashion companies are starting to give to the market in terms of production and sells of their products.
From my point of view "Fashion" really is getting the ethical messagem now.
We live in a consumer society, so one of the easiest ways to effect change is through our purchases. I think anyone who watches the new and knows what is going on in the world is becoming more concerned about buying ethically - from the environmental impact of garment production to who made their clothes and the conditions they were working in.
But ethical clothing has also come a long way, too. In the past, it was all about promoting the virtuous message. Now it is much more about style, and the quality like ours encourages bigger manufacturers to take these issues seriously, rather than just feigning an interest.
However "Ethical" fashion is still oinly a tiny part of the vast global clothing industry.
Most shoppers remain remarkably unbothered about where their clothes come from. Lest we forget, throwaway chain Primark is booming.

Sales channel

Today I want to mention the sales channels of the brand "Independent". I'm sure, the products are primarily distributed through monobrand concept store.
At the beginning opening up in major European cities. Especially where it is particularly appreciated the "Made in Italy". Our mission also to get the sale of our products through the Internet sales channel. Our goal, to become a leader in the e-commerce sale. This is can be possible through a partnership with an Italian company, based near Bologna: YOOX.
The YOOX is a company specializing in selling fashion products through the Internet channel. The company that competes in the Italian market, initially not many people believe in the success of this reality, but the time given them reason.
Basically, my abject is to make an exclusive partnership with this reality in the British market in order to be able to learn their know-how.

INDEPENDENT or INDIPENDENTE ??!? - Logo and Brand Name

A well back to the blog by Marco.
I hope to hold more 'updated my blog from now on.
First I want to present a draft of our logo, hoping it will be to your liking.

Today I want to describe what are the brand values of "Independent" is essentially about brand identity for my brand, and in the future to compare our values with those of competitors.
I want to start publishing some pictures that may help to better perceive the values of our brand, and especially to understand where it's going 'to be different compared to its competitors.
Before to start i will speak about some doubts I had during this last week I thought that perhaps the choice to give the company an English name is not the best. I think the customers, the target to which the brand wants to go prefer a name brand Italian.
Probably the decision to give the brand a name 100% Italian is the right choice, everything in order to succeed in the best way to manage the communications strategy to be implemented during the launch of the brand.
About this last decision I will ask to my teacher Jon his opinion.

INDEPENDENT - SWOT ANALYSIS

STRENGHT

• “Made in italy” in Fast fashion

WEAKNESSES

The Indipendent Italian Dream...."made in Italy made abroad"

A warm greeting from Marco, especially to my teacher Jon.
After about a week of reflection on the choice of my final project have finally arrived at a decision.
About a week ago as I said at the beginning I proposed to you readers some of my business ideas, some "gap" that I think are in the fashion business, especially in the British market.
I want you to see my original idea , the one I choose:

'My idea is to create a brand that has organitional features of production and distribution very similar to companies like "Zara" and "H&M", but with a "strong" italian identity, both in terms of style and production quality, of course, the production will be placed to certain countries where labor is still not very expensive, but the secret will move right in most of its human resources in the place where it produces and try to bring everything with our "know how" you can to ensure that the production standards and quality high, essentially a "made in Italy" made abroad.
I know you can't call a product "made in Italy" if it was made in another country, but our strategy to comunicate to our customers, our mission, just "made in Italy" made abroad.'

After having the opportunity to read it again, I will speak more about my business idea.

In these two years of analysis of the fashion business I came to understand that you are creating a "gap" in it, thanks to a repositioning by companies competing in affordable luxury with their second line.

More precisely what is happening in the Strategic Business Unit "affordable luxury"?

Companies called "griffe" in the fashion business are repositioning their second lines (ex. D&G for Dolce & Gabbana, Just Cavalli for Roberto Cavalli, Marc by Marc Jacobs for Marc Jacobs ...) in terms of prices, in substance are raising their prices on products.
Because these companies are all re-placing in the high price of "affordable luxury" creates "gap" in the lower price range where my business will go to compete.
I know, initially thought of going to compete directly in the Strategic Business Unit "fast fashion" where there are companies like "Zara", "H&M", "Top Shop" etc. but in the end I decided to keep them as competitors but add others from the affordable luxury.

In the next text I'm going to talk in more detail about my company and my business plan.

MARCO'S BUSINESS IDEAS

A warm welcome to all readers of the blog.
My name is Marco Roccetti and I am a student of ISTITUTO MARANGONI London.
Initially I was a member of the campus in Milan for two years, but I decided to finish my studies at the London campus.
I state that the fears in having to do a whole project in english are not few, but I would rather call myself brave.

Now start talking about the "Business Plan Final Project" which is to finish by the end of the year with my teacher of Marketing "Jon Kitto".

The my business ideas for this project are three.

The first idea, should go to compete in the segment of fashion business "underwear", essentially creating a company that has a high content of "Italy" all inside of their brand and products, I would essentially creating a company that has a distribution similar to the trademark "Intimissimi" and the quality of "La Perla", but going to complete in a price range of business media.

My second idea is to create a brand that has organitional features of production and distribution very similar to companies like "Zara" and "H&M", but with a "strong" italian identity, both in terms of style and production quality, of course, the production will be placed to certain countries where labor is still not very expensive, but the secret will move right in most of its human resources in the place where it produces and try to bring everything with our "know how" you can to ensure that the production standards and quality high, essentially a "made in Italy" made abroad.
I know you can't call a product "made in Italy" if it was made in another country, but our strategy to comunicate to our customers, our mission, just "made in Italy" made abroad.

My third and final idea for this project would be to create a company that is mainly for those people (men, women and children) with problems of overweight. Unfortunately there isn't very good as thought, but today our society is going through this problem and our mission will be to go to satisfy this type of consumer.
